Tiger Cub Really Didn't Want To Take A Bath

One very mischievous tiger cub decided that having fun is much more important than actually getting clean. Luckily for him, his mother was nothing short of patient.

 Ninad Sane, a software tester based in Mumbai, was able to capture these tender moments between a tigress and her cub bathing in a river at India's Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve.

 "The mother was in the water with her cub and it immediately started jumping around and splashing, a lot like a human child would do in the water," Sane told the Daily Mail.

"But the mum had control of it the whole time, even though it just wanted to play," she said.
It appears that, at one moment, the tiger cub was actually able to sit still long enough to receive a kiss from his doting mother.

 

At other points, however, even the cub's mother is more than happy to indulge in a little play time as well.

 Tiger cubs typically stick close to their mothers until they are around 2 or 3 years old, before moving on to live on their own. All tiger species are considered endangered, though the year 2016 marks the first time in 100 years that the world tiger population has seen an increase in number.
