As we come up to Christmas, there's going to be a lot of people considering getting dogs. Whether it be for your partner, family or maybe a close mate. But four-legged friend really is for life. They rely on you for food, love, hugs and generally just everything. But in return, you get a best pal.
Maybe this family from California should have thought about that before they abandoned their canine, a German Shepherd named Zuzu.
It's hard not to get really angry about this.
Basically, two-year-old Zuzu was found in a garden and assumed to be a stray. She was picked up and taken to a dog rescue shelter. Fair enough. Then, a family walked in. Zuzu began jumping around and 'lit up like a Christmas tree'. The family began petting her and talking to her through the fence. What a heartwarming story, right?
